The single is titled "December Song (I Dreamed of Christmas)" and it's the first Christmas song released by George Michael since 1984 when he released "Last Christmas."
The release of "December Song" was announced by George Michael himself in August while he was on the stage of Earls Court in London for 2 sold out concerts. The song has been written by George Michael and David Austin, who in a recent interview said that initially "December Song" was written for the Spice Girls. Then it was offered to Michael Buble but ultimately George Michael changed his mind and decided to sing it himself.
